Conclusion of my Portfolio
So here we are at the conclusion part of my portfolio and, first of all, thank you for your time reading my dental hygiene journey!
I can assure you that the conclusion does not mean the end of my journey. In fact, it is a new beginning as I step in to the professional world of dental hygiene in Canada, which I am looking forward to.
As I have shared in my portfolio, my school years at the School of Dental Hygiene, University of Manitoba, were filled with numerous valuable courses, assignments, and working and volunteering experiences. I am very grateful to have the opportunities to learn all the necessary skills in preparation to become a professional dental hygienist and I am very proud of myself since completing all those works and courses required tons of dedication, sweat, and tears, :). After all, I strongly believe the School of Dental Hygiene at University of Manitoba is well recognized and considered as one of top schools in Canada.
In addition to polishing my technical and hands-on skills as a dental hygienist, I must say that my experience also enabled to become a well-rounded professional. I learned deeply about the meaning and application of professionalism, understood the utmost importance of collaboration and communication with regards to providing the best oral health care, trained myself to have a critical thinking on important issues, played a role in advocating the dental hygiene field. I am also equipped with the knowledge and experience to become a coordinator and/or team player, oral health educator and promoter to my patients, people in need, or even public in general.
In summary, I feel well prepared to serve my community members or anyone who needs to improve their oral health and overall health by providing my expertise in dental hygiene!
